2. If it is really necessary to clean the lens, only laboratory grade paper soft cotton balls can be used, dipped with appropriate amount of acetone or high retention alcohol, and gently rotated clockwise from the center of the lens to the edge. Both sides of the lens need to be cleaned when necessary, and they should be carefully scrubbed;
3. Install the lens barrel and air nozzle, adjust the focus, tighten the fastening screws, and ensure that the convex face is downward when installing the focusing lens.
Pay attention to the following three points when maintaining the focusing lens of the laser cutting machine:
1. The focusing lens is made of ZnSe (zinc arsenide), which is brittle and is afraid of falling; Attention shall be paid during disassembly: do not use too much force or collide with hard objects. There is an antireflection film on the surface, which is afraid of pollution, moisture, oil and scratch; Therefore, it is required to provide dry and degreased air during work. Never handle the lens of the laser cutting machine focusing lens directly by hand, because skin grease will cause permanent damage to the lens surface. On the contrary, you can wear gloves and special sets for operation. For smaller lenses, it will be more convenient to use optical tweezers or vacuum tweezers. 3. When cleaning the focusing lens of a laser cutting machine, always use clean wiping paper and optical grade solvent to prevent damage by other pollutants. Wiping paper must be moistened with appropriate solvent, and must not be used dry.
