This is short clip showing what goes on during a carbon dioxide fractional laser resurfacing treatment for atrophic acne scars.

The patient’s face is thoroughly cleaned, then numbing cream is often applied and left on for 30-40 minutes. The cream is then wiped off and the treatment starts.

After 1-2 passes, post-procedure serum is then applied and patient is given post-porcedure instructions before being sent home. –
