No light
The selection of on, off and run on the old Q drive is wrong. Off is the command to forcibly turn off the laser and on is the command to forcibly emit light. The correct way is to select run.
The card is broken. Replace the card. The voltage of the Q signal on the card. Under normal circumstances, the voltage of the Q signal is: when the Kairui card is at low level, that is, 0V when marking and 5V when not marking; The golden orange card is at high level when marking, that is, 5V when marking and 0V when not marking.
The signal wiring between the card and the driver is open. Replace or re weld it.
The optical path is not adjusted properly. Re adjust the optical path.
The krypton lamp is broken. Replace the krypton lamp.
Computer control system or computer obstruction, reinstall the system or replace the computer.
The laser power supply is broken. Replace the laser power supply.
The Q drive is broken. Replace the Q drive.
The Q switch is broken. Replace the Q switch.
Weak light
The CW method of the marking software is not selected, and the light will be weak, so the CW method is selected.
M1, M2 and M3 gears on the Q drive are dialed incorrectly. The correct way is to select M1.
The focal length is wrong. Adjust the focal length again.
The water temperature is too high.
The krypton lamp is aging. Replace the krypton lamp.
Total reflection or semi reflection lens, focusing lens, galvanometer lens and Q-switch lens are dirty or scratched. Wipe clean or replace.
The cavity, total reflection mirror, half reflection mirror and beam expander are not adjusted properly, and they need to be adjusted again.
The Q switch is not properly adjusted. Normally, it will emit light when marking. When not marking, the Q switch will lock the laser. The current of the laser power supply can be adjusted up, and the frequency multiplier can be placed in front of the half mirror to see if there is light leakage. If there is light leakage, the light will be weak. Re adjust the Q switch.
The laser did not hit the center of the galvo, or the lens of the galvo was scratched. Re adjust the light path or replace the galvanometer.
Continuous luminescence
Incorrect sequence of switching on and off may lead to continuous light output. The correct startup sequence is: total power = > computer = > marking software = > chiller = > Q driver = > laser power = > after the ready light on the excitation power supply is on = > press the run key to start = > galvo power switch. The shutdown sequence is opposite.
The on, off and run switches on the old-fashioned Q driver are wrongly set. On is the forced lighting command, and off is the forced laser off command. The correct way is to select run.
The card is broken. Replace the card. Kairui card should also pay attention to the jumper cap on the card: yag50 jumper cap should jump T-terminal. (pay attention to this problem when replacing Kairui card)
The Q switch is not properly adjusted. Normally, it will emit light when marking. When not marking, the Q switch will lock the laser.
In the case of Kairui software, it may also be due to the problem of marking software and relocation.
Computer or control system problems. Replace or reinstall the system.
The Q drive is broken. Replace the Q drive.
If the Q switch is broken, replace the Q switch (this is rare. Generally speaking, if the Q switch is broken, the Q driver will give an alarm)
Galvo does not move
The parameter x and Y proportion adjustment options on Kairui software are zero, and the galvo will not move, so re adjust the parameters.
The card is broken. Replace the card. The voltage of the X and Y galvanometer signals on the card normally changes between 0-5V when marking and 0V when not marking.
The signal line of the galvo is open and needs to be replaced.
Qin Long’s galvo, the jumper cap next to the signal indicator on the driver must be removed, otherwise the galvo will not move.
Replace the galvanometer if it is obstructed.
Computer control system or computer obstruction, reinstall the system or replace the computer.
Vibration and howling of galvo
If the ground wire is not connected properly, reconnect it.
The card is broken. Replace the card.
Turn off the laser power supply and Q driver, gently touch the lens of the galvanometer by hand to check whether it shakes or listens to whether the galvanometer screams. If the obstacle is removed, turn on the laser power supply and Q driver one by one to determine whether it is caused by the laser power supply or Q driver.
If the vibration or howling of the galvanometer is caused by the laser power supply, the high-voltage line of the laser power supply can be separated from other signal lines as far as possible, and generally speaking, obstacles can be eliminated. If the obstruction still exists, replace the laser power supply.
If the vibration or howling of the galvo is caused by the Q driver, check whether the wiring between the Q driver and the Q switch is short circuited, which will cause this obstruction. If the obstacle still exists, replace the Q driver.
The galvo is broken. Replace it.

Poor marking effect

The cause of the marking software or system. Reinstall the system or marking software.
The parameters of the marking software have not been adjusted properly, so adjust the parameters again.

The marked graphics are not made or the marked materials are not available.
Graphic deformation

If you don’t do the graphics well, do it again.
The parameters were not adjusted properly. The pincushion bulging and horizontal straightness in distortion correction were adjusted again.
The galvanometer is not adjusted properly. Reconciling.
If there is a problem with the marking software or system, relocate the marking software or system.
The galvo is broken. Replace it.
Wrong size

The size of the exported figure does not match the required figure size, so make the figure again. Simple graphics can be updated in size with marking software, and double mixed graphics are easy to deform.
The focal length has changed, and the focal length has been readjusted.
The scale parameters were not adjusted properly. Reconciling parameters.
If multiple patterns are marked in the same figure, and the size of each pattern is different, golden orange software can adjust the correction parameters. Kairui software does not have this parameter to mediate.
Marking dislocation

The screws for stabilizing the galvanometer are not locked, so the galvanometer is stabilized.
Problems with the control system or marking software, or anti-virus software installed in the control system sometimes lead to this problem. Reinstall the system or reinstall the marking software after deleting the antivirus software.
Replace the galvanometer for its own problems.
Marking straight line into wave shape

If the ground wire is not connected properly, re connect the ground wire.

Foot switch does not work

When using the foot switch, Kairui software must mark with the small triangle mark on the common things bar of the marking software (press F5 to pop up this marking dialog box). If you click the marking button on the status bar to mark, the foot jump switch will not work.
The foot switch is broken. Replace it.
The card is broken. Foot switch signal voltage: normally, there is a 5V signal voltage for marking and non marking.
The signal wiring between the card and the foot switch is open.
If it is a golden orange card, check whether the setting of (F3 parameter) / port / start marking port / input port is 0. If it is not set to 0, the foot switch will not work.
