This week we’re talking with @George Brown College Fashion Exchange in Toronto, ON on how they create large format direct-to-print and laser cut fabrics in their fashion design program.
They use the SP500 large format laser cutter with the JobControl Vision Camera System to read registration marks printed with their wide format printers directly on to garments and fabrics.
Thesebinations of printing and cutting technology will pave the way for future rapid prototyping initiatives in the fashion industry.
