I’m demonstrating the mirror alignment procedure on a 50W ebay Chinese laser cutter.
It doesn’t need to be difficult. Be methodical, follow the steps in order. If you feel you messed something up, go back a step or 2 and repeat from there.
With practice you should eventually be able to perform an alignment in 15-30 minutes.
