This week Justin, a co-op student from John Fraser Secondary School in Mississauga, ON created some awesome twill sports jerseys using the Trotec Speedy 360 laser cutter.
He started by designing and illustrator his own logo. He then photographed the logo and uploaded it to his design software (CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator). He converted the drawing into a vector image then split it up into 4 layers (3 kiss-cut inner layers, and 1 full cut outer layer).
He then placed his 4 layers of twill into the Trotec Speedy 360 laser cutting machine and proceeded to laser cut the twill with kiss-cuts and full-cuts. He then peeled off the extra top layers to make his final design. He then heat-pressed the twill onto different jerseys for a permanent bond.

2nd layer kiss-cut: 80 power, 4 speed
3rd layer kiss-cut: 47 power, 2.9 speed (2 passes)
4th layer full-cut (outer layer): 100 power, 1.8 speed
