Since the plate-making cost of laser engraving on paper packaging materials is low, only one quarter of the cost of resin plate, so in the current printing and packaging industry, laser engraving plate-making is generally used as the printing plate for corrugated box packaging.
The laser engraving machine realizes engraving in the way of dots, which has a natural advantage in grayscale performance. For this reason, the grayscale representation is used as much as possible in the engraving design. The advantage of this is that it reduces the coloring process and saves the cost; on the one hand, it enriches the expressive means of engraving and increases the level of graphics.
