In today’s video I review and tell you all about the Genmitsu Jinsoku LE-1620 laser engraver sold by Sain Smart. This laser engraver is under $300 and perfect as an entry laser, or hobby laser for anyone in the DIY / Makerspace Movement looking to add laser engraving to their small workshop.

Laser Information:
Super easy to assemble and start in minutes. Bigger engraving area (200mm X 160mm) than similar machines. Compatible with Lightburn/laserGRBL, etc. Advanced Motherboard with Test fire button enables you to easily locate and pre-run your project, ites with XY limit switch for auto zero; Z-axis is height adjustable, it can expand your projects with a Rotary accessory or work with thicker materials.

Focal length of laser module: 20mm
Adjustable height of laser: 50mm
Working area: 200mm (Y) x 160mm(X)
Software: GRBL firmware,patible with Lightburn/laserGRBL etc.
Dimension after installation: 410mm x 400mm x 160mm
