1. To process obtuse angle with arc:
If possible, avoid machining corners without arcs. Angles with arcs have the following advantages:
a) The dynamic performance of shaft motion is good;
b) Small heat affected zone;
c) There are few burrs.
For corners without fillets, the maximum radius that can be set is half of the slit width. At this time, the cut corners have no fillets.
2. Cut sharp corners on the thin plate with the round hole angulation method:
When cutting on thin plates at high speed, it is recommended to use the round hole angle forming method to cut sharp corners, which has the following advantages:
a) When cutting sharp corners, the axial change is uniform;
b) When chamfering, the cutting speed is constant;
c) The shaft vibration and burr generation are prevented;
d) The heat affected zone at the sharp corner is small.
3. Cut sharp corners on thick plates with time delay method:
When cutting thick plates, if the round hole angulation method is also used, the sharp corners will be overheated. At this time, parameters should be used to cut the sharp corners. The machine moves to the sharp corners, pauses for a specific time, and then continues to turn.
