In this episode I show how to use Adobe Illustrator to design a 1:50 scale model building suitable for Warhammer or WarmaHordes terrain. I use a laser cutter to cut and engrave the parts, which I then paint and assemble. I show how a modular design makes the interior accessible during game play, and gives you flexibility on the number of floors in your building. I also give tips on creating glazes for painting engraved surfaces. I also show how one basic structure can be transformed by adding facades.
