How to maintain the laser cutting machine in winter?

1. Do not turn off the water cooler after the laser cutting machine does not work
When the laser cutting machine does not work and the power supply will not be cut off (except for power failure), the water cooler will not be turned off to keep the coolant in a circulating flow state, and the normal temperature can be adjusted to about 10 ℃. In this way, the coolant temperature cannot reach the freezing point, so the laser cutting machine will not be damaged.
2. Drain the coolant from the laser cutter
Drain the coolant in all parts of the equipment through the drain port of the laser cutting machine, and inject pure gas to ensure that there is no coolant in the whole water circulation cooling system, which can also ensure that the laser cutting machine will not be damaged by low temperature.
3. Add antifreeze into the laser cutting machine
Add antifreeze to the equipment, but be sure to choose the antifreeze with good reputation, otherwise the antifreeze contains impurities, which will also cause damage to the equipment if it sticks in the pipes of laser and other components.
It should be noted that after the antifreeze is added, it can only ensure that the water will not freeze within – 20 ℃, but it cannot be said that the water cooler can work normally at very cold temperatures. The normal working temperature of our water cooler should be above 5 ℃. The temperature of cold start shall be above 10 ℃.
Special reminder: any antifreeze cannot completely replace deionized water and cannot be used for a long time all year round. After winter, the pipeline must be cleaned with deionized water or purified water, and the use of deionized water or purified water as coolant must be resumed.
The extremely cold weather will cause irreparable damage to the optical part of the laser. We remind you to store and use the laser in strict accordance with the storage temperature and operating temperature specified in the laser instruction manual, so as to prevent accidents.
