How to prevent laser from icing in low temperature environment

Low temperature freezing poses a threat to the safety of the laser and cooling water system, and the damage to the laser and cooling water system caused by freezing and other reasons is also extremely serious. In order to do a good job in prevention and security work, please pay attention to the household chores to prevent unnecessary economic losses. 1. The recommended method to prevent icing is to keep the water cooler and laser in an environment with a temperature above 0 ℃.

2. If the above conditions cannot be met, please keep the laser and water cooler on all the time. If the water in the pipeline is flowing all the time, it can prevent icing. Of course, in this case, if the water cooler is shut down for a long time due to fault or power failure, there is also a certain risk of icing

3. If none of the above methods can be done, you can add the antifreeze recommended by our company – AntifrogenN antifreeze from Chariant. Its adding ratio is 3:7 (3 is antifreeze, 7 is water). After adding antifreeze, it can resist – 20 ℃ without freezing.

4. During the night and holiday, if the above three points cannot be done, the water in the water tank and pipeline of the laser and water cooler can be drained as much as possible. Please follow the instructions below.

4.1 The parts of the laser special water cooler that need to be drained; Water tank, pipeline, water pump head, filter, deionization tank (optional)

4.2 Water tank drainage method: as shown in the following figure, open the drain valve at the bottom of the water tank to drain the water in the water tank. If necessary, tilt the water cooler at a certain angle, which is the low point of the drain.

4.3 Drainage in the pipeline: blow compressed air from the inlet and outlet of low temperature water and high temperature water for 1 minute respectively, and drain water from the outlet of the water tank.

4.4 Open the water tank cover and observe whether there is residual water in the water tank. If there is, tilt the water cooler slightly to drain the water or use a dry towel to absorb the water.

4.5 Pump head drainage: there is a drain screw at the lower part of each pump head. When the water cooler needs to be stopped or transported for a long time, open the pump head drain screw to drain the water in the pump, blow it out with compressed air, and then tighten the drain screw.

6. Drainage of filter and deionization tank: open the drain valve at the lower part of filter and deionization tank or plexiglass shell to drain the residual water.

7. What to pay attention to later

7.1 If water is to be refilled after the holiday, the water pump must be drained before starting, otherwise the water pump will be damaged.

7.2 For the water cooler with antifreeze, please pay attention to replace the normal cooling water after winter. Before changing the water, please rinse the antifreeze in the entire water tank and pipeline completely, and then change the water normally. The deionization cylinder must be replaced at the same time.
