How to remove dust from laser cutting machine

Laser is one of the most commonly used metal cutting methods, which is efficient and convenient to use, and is very common in factories. However, the use of laser cutting machines to process metal plates will certainly produce dust. When these tiny soot particles are produced, they will float in the air in large quantities, seriously reducing the air quality and damaging the working environment. High concentrations of soot are also extremely harmful to workers working in them, often leading to serious diseases, such as respiratory diseases. What is the best and effective way to deal with the smoke generated by laser cutting machine?

At present, the commonly used laser dedusting methods are mainly divided into dry type and wet type. The dry type is to add a set of laser cutting dust remover and dust removal equipment, while the wet type is to place the cutting process on the water surface to form a water bed cutting platform, which uses water power to absorb dust and purify. After comprehensive comparison of the two methods, the dry process, especially the smoke blowing cleaning system, is most popular in the factory because of its convenient installation and use. The smoke generated by laser cutting is concentrated at the lower part of the workpiece. Therefore, the invention has a suction port at the lower part of the workbench, which is divided into a uniform small suction port area.

On one side of the platform of the dedusting system, there is also a sliding air suction pipe, which has a suction inlet and can move with the cutting head. When ash is generated, the wind of the air duct blows the ash to the suction inlet, thus achieving the effect of collecting small air volume and high collection rate.

The collected dust will be uniformly transmitted to the dedusting host for filtering. The main structure is the same as the dust collection system. The installation of filter will retain more than 0.3m of dust and complete the dust cleaning process. The efficiency of laser dust removal is above 90%, and the effect is remarkable. Because of its simple installation and low cost, it has become the most commonly used dust removal method for laser cutting.
