Precautions for using laser engraving machines

There are many things to pay attention to in daily use of laser engraving machines, and if these precautions are not taken seriously, the service life of the laser engraving machine will be greatly reduced. Here is a summary of what laser engraving machines need to know in their daily use; The main components of a laser engraving machine include a carbon dioxide laser, laser power supply, control panel, flat workbench, optical path system, cooling system, and smoke exhaust system.

1. The laser engraving machine should be placed horizontally on the desktop and not tilted.

2. The laser engraving machine should prevent strong vibration. When moving, the cart and trolley should be fixed first to prevent vibration from causing optical path deviation or laser cracks.

3. The installation fulcrum of the laser tube should be reasonable, and the fulcrum should be located at1/4of the total length of the laser tube. Otherwise, it may cause the mode of the laser tube spot to deteriorate, and some work for a period of time may cause the spot to become several points, resulting in a decrease in laser power that cannot meet the requirements, resulting in continuous tube replacement.

4. The cooling system should be grounded, and the water tank and waterways should be cleaned frequently. The temperature control points of the cooling temperature control water tank should be reasonable, otherwise the laser tube may be easily damaged, the condensation power may decrease, the cold water head of the tube may fall off, the service life may be greatly shortened, and sometimes it cannot work, resulting in continuous tube replacement.

5. The suction device should be regularly inspected and cleaned, and the fan duct should be cleaned thoroughly. Otherwise, a lot of smoke and dust cannot be discharged, which will contaminate the lens and laser tube, making various mechanical and electronic components prone to oxidation and poor contact.

6. During the inspection of the focusing lens and reflector, the frame is heated during operation, the surface of the lens changes color and rust, and the detachment and cracking are all objects that need to be replaced. Especially, many customers use large air pumps and compressors, which quickly accumulate water on the focusing lens. Therefore, it is necessary to check the cleanliness and quality of the lens (laser tube outlet) optical system on time.

7. There is high voltage inside the laser engraving machine, and non professional technicians are not allowed to open the machine casing for maintenance to prevent electric shock.

8. When the laser engraving machine is working, it is necessary to strictly prevent workers or other personnel from reaching out or watching with their eyes to prevent laser damage to the skin and eyes.
