Principle of laser cutting machine

Laser is a kind of light. Like other natural light, it is generated by the transition of atoms (molecules or ions, etc.). However, it is different from ordinary light in that the laser only depends on spontaneous emission in a very short time, and the subsequent process is completely determined by the excitation radiation. Therefore, the laser has very pure color, almost no divergent directivity, high luminous intensity and high coherence.
Laser cutting is realized by using high power density energy generated by laser focusing. Under the control of the computer, the laser discharges through pulses, and then outputs a controlled repetitive high-frequency pulse laser to form a beam with a certain frequency and pulse width. The pulsed laser beam is transmitted and reflected through the optical path, and focused on the surface of the object to be processed through the focusing lens group to form a fine high energy density point. The focus is located near the surface to be treated, melting or evaporating the treated material at an instantaneous high temperature. Each high-energy laser pulse will immediately spread a small hole on the surface of the object. Under the control of the computer, it is a device for cutting various metals or sheet metals through the principle of laser thermal cutting. The cut in product has high precision and good stability. In the design, the R&D personnel will optimize the CNC control system from time to time to better meet the increasingly accurate part processing. The CNC system designed has strong dynamic stability and can work continuously for a long time.
Principle of laser cutting machine
Since the laser cutting machine uses the optical fiber cutting head system, the cutting head will float with the height of the plate, but the position of the cutting point will always remain unchanged. Therefore, the cutting seam of data is smooth and flat, and no other post-processing is required after cutting, thus reducing various processing links, with high speed and cost-effectiveness. Of course, the core technology of laser cutting machine is the stability of its laser optical system. Even after thousands of vibration frequencies, the laser optical system is still stable.
The cutting process parameters (cutting speed, laser power, air pressure, etc.) and motion trajectory are controlled by the CNC system. The slag at the gap is blown away by auxiliary gas under a certain pressure.
