1. Perpendicularity
If the thickness of the sheet metal exceeds 10mm, the perpendicularity of the cutting edge is very important. When away from the focus, the laser beam will become divergent, and the cutting will become wider toward the top or bottom according to the location of the focus. The cutting edge deviates from the vertical line by several millimeters. The more vertical the edge is, the higher the cutting quality is.
2. Deformation
If the part is heated rapidly due to cutting, it will deform. This is particularly important in fine machining, because the contour and connecting piece here are usually only a few millimeters wide by ten metal laser cutting machines. Controlling the laser power and using short laser pulses can reduce the heating of components and avoid deformation.
3. Grain
When cutting thick plates at high speed, molten metal will not appear in the notch below the vertical laser beam, but will be sprayed out at the back of the laser beam, which will lead to the formation of curved lines, which will closely follow the moving laser beam. To correct this problem, the feed rate of the laser cutting machine should be appropriately reduced at the end of processing to eliminate the formation of lines.
4. Pits and corrosion
The depression and corrosion have adverse effects on the surface of the cutting edge and affect the appearance. They appear in cutting errors that should normally be avoided.
5. Roughness
Metal laser cutting machine laser cutting section will form vertical lines. The depth of the lines determines the roughness of the cutting surface. The shallower the lines, the smoother the cutting section. Roughness not only affects the appearance of edges, but also the friction characteristics. In most cases, the roughness needs to be reduced as much as possible, so the shallower the grain, the higher the cutting quality.

After the laser cutting machine is installed, a scribing device will be installed on the cutting nozzle of the CNC cutting machine, and a simulated cutting figure will be drawn through the scribing device. The simulated figure is a 1m square. A circle with a diameter of 1m is built in. Diagonal lines are drawn on the four corners. After drawing, use measuring tools to measure whether the circle is tangent to the four sides of the square.
