Architectural Model Making with a Laser Cutter | Trotec Laser

This time we’re laser cutting an architectural model with our Trotec Speedy 360 80w laser cutting machine. We’re using our TroCraft ECO wood sheets made from environmentally friendly pure cellulose fiber. These wood sheets resemble a mix of MDF and sturdy cardboard.

We’ve also used our Trotec plywood, various TroGlass acrylics and cork to make this architecture model. This is a great project for schools, model makers and industrial designers.

First cuts with 50W Chinese laser cutter

My first cuts (after calibration and focus setting) with my new 50W Chinese made laser cutter. Sometimes leave little bits not cut all the way through, but I’ll work that out as I go.

Failed to personalize my phone case. I used the Atomstack p7 m40 portable laser engraver to burn the logo but the logo was not made as it shoud and i messed up everything.
