How to solve the burr caused by laser cutting?

Because laser cutting machine has the advantages of high efficiency, good quality of finished products, flexible processing, etc., it has been increasingly favored by the sheet metal processing industry. However, when some customers use the laser cutting machine, there will be many burrs on the workpiece. Many people think that the quality of laser cutting machine is defective. Is that so?
Not necessarily. In the process of sheet metal processing, the parameter setting of laser cutting machine and the gas purity will affect the processing quality. Use appropriate auxiliary gas, configure the machine and adjust the parameters so that the cut workpiece will not have burrs.
Burrs are actually excessive residual particles on the surface of metal materials. When the laser cutting machine processes the workpiece, the laser beam shines on the surface of the workpiece, and the generated energy vaporizes the surface of the workpiece to achieve the purpose of cutting.
During cutting, auxiliary gas is used to quickly blow away the slag on the metal surface, so as to make the cutting part smooth and burr free. Different auxiliary gases are used to cut different materials. If the gas is not pure or the pressure is insufficient to cause small flow, the slag will not be blown clean and burrs will form.
Another reason is the setting of equipment parameters, such as incorrect laser focusing position.
How to solve the burr caused by laser cutting?
If the workpiece has burrs, troubleshooting can be carried out from the following aspects:
1. If the purity of cutting gas is not enough, please replace it with high-quality cutting auxiliary gas.
2. If the laser focusing position is incorrect, it is necessary to test the focusing position and adjust it according to the focusing offset.
3. The output power of the laser is insufficient. Check whether the laser works normally. If it is normal, please observe whether the output value of the laser control button is correct and adjust it accordingly.
4. The cutting speed of the cutter is too slow, and the linear speed must be increased during operation.
5. The machine runs for too long, causing instability. It needs to be shut down and restarted to stop the machine.
