The Reason and Solution of Laser Tube Failure in Laser Cutting Machine

There are usually three situations when the laser tube of a laser cutting machine does not emit light. One is when the light suddenly does not emit light, the other is when the light becomes weaker and weaker when used, and the other is when everything starts to work normally, and when turned off and turned on again, there is no light.

There are many reasons why the laser tube of a laser cutting machine does not emit light:

1. Check the circulating water flow of the water outlet to see if there is any water coming out of the pipe. If there is water, it may be due to the high temperature of the water, which may cause the laser tube to burst

2. If there is no water on the outer layer of the laser tube, start checking the power supply. After turning off the power, check whether the water pump or chiller plug is properly plugged in. Then, short circuit the laser power supply first. If it still does not emit light, it may be that the laser power supply is broken

3. Check if the ammeter is normal. If it is normal, it may be a problem with the laser tube. If the ammeter is not normal, it may be a problem with the laser power supply

4. Press the “light output” button to check if the ammeter pointer can hit. If it is below 5 milliamperes, it may be due to power failure, or the maximum and minimum light intensity may be increased to 50%, and then the needle may reach 10-12 milliamperes. If it is possible that there is a problem with the laser power supply or motherboard.

Solution for laser tube failure in laser cutting machine

The laser tube is broken, which may be due to internal air leakage or external damage

1. Is the water level switch normal and is it protected against high laser tube temperature

2. Is it because the water pipe in the water circulation is blocked or the water pump is not working

3. The laser tube is broken or burnt out

4. Broken water protection wire or poor contact

There is a problem with the laser power supply. Open the machine power distribution box and check if the light on the laser power supply is on. Click on the spot or test button on the panel to observe if there is a signal light flashing on the laser power supply
