Laser cutting helps elevator production industry

Laser technology has become more and more mature, and gradually entered the field of industrial manufacturing. Industrial laser manufacturing equipment has been widely used in production lines of all walks of life in recent years. Many objects in life are related to laser technology. This article mainly introduces the laser technology used in elevator products in the construction industry.
Elevator is a product that we often come into contact with in our life. Its appearance has provided great convenience for our life. It originated in western countries and was gradually widely used in high-rise buildings. At present, the mainstream elevators in the market are vertical elevator and escalator. The elevator is widely used in high-rise buildings such as residential buildings and office buildings, while the escalator is mainly used in shopping malls and hospitals on low floors.
The main structure of elevator is composed of car body, traction part, control system, automatic door, safety system, etc. A large number of steel plates are used in elevators, such as the doors and car bodies in elevator elevators, the foot drive parts in escalator elevators, and the walls on both sides. These parts are mainly processed by laser cutting technology.
The elevator itself needs to have a certain bearing capacity, and the steel plate structure is extremely suitable. When the laser cutting machine is not widely used, the elevator is also manufactured by traditional punching machine, sawing and other methods. Because of the low efficiency of the traditional processing method, it requires secondary processing and polishing and is prone to errors, which is not conducive to the subsequent precision structure. The elevator not only needs stable performance, but also has certain requirements on appearance precision. In shopping malls and other public places, the aesthetics of the elevator will also have a certain impact on people’s shopping psychology.
At present, the national standard does not require the thickness of the steel plate for the elevator car body and door, but only the thickness. At present, 304 stainless steel with a thickness of 0.8mm is commonly used, and some steel plates up to 1.2mm are also used. For steel plates of this thickness, considering the cutting production speed, generally 3000W can achieve rapid cutting and processing. The cut surface of the processed workpiece is flat, with high precision, and can be directly welded without grinding. Therefore, compared with traditional processing technology, optical fiber laser cutting technology has obvious advantages, which is a subdivision field where laser technology can play an important role.
