The mechanical parts I will be using for this build will be from Cloudray Laser (www.cloudraylaser.com). When building your own machine you have the opportunity to design it the size you want with the material you want to give it a unique and personal look. I have chosen to use Aluminium T-Slot Extrusion for the frame of my machine and I will briefly discuss the design and plan for the machine I plan to build in a future video.

Welcome back to Aurora Tech Channel. Today, I will review another desktop-size laser engraver, the Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro S2. I would like to thank MadeTheBest for sending me this machine to review. The workable area of this machine is 400 by 400mm. It came with a 5W laser. It’s good for engraving and also claimed to be able to cut up to 6mm of plywood in a single pass. I will do some engraving and cutting tests on different materials and see what you can expect from this machine.

So here’s basically the bottom line:
Based on my generally positive experience with the FE20 so far, I’m inclined to say I would recommend it to a friend who wants a cheap and simple laser engraver with a large working area and enough power to cut through soft and thin materials. But then, this is my first ever CNC laser and I didn’t pay for it – it was sent to me by Fokoos. So I don’t feel that I am in a good place to steer you in either direction. Instead, my goal is simply share my experience so far, and to give you enough information to make your own educated decision.

3 days ago, I didn’t know anything about Laser Cutting and Engraving. Now I feel like I can make anything! In this video, I will review the Makeblock xTool D1 Laser Cutting and Engraving Machine!

The Makeblock xTool D1 Cutting and Engraving Machine is an industrial machine downsized for designers and hobbyists. All of the internal moving components are industrialized steel, but it is light enough to easy carry. The laser is accurate to .08 mm and moves with a precision of .01 mm. It has height adjustment, engraves and cuts numerous materials and is easy to adjust.
